His was the first trip by a Hop Dude back to the ancient lands in three full cycles. To thwart the Nemesis it was imperative to learn more about his past--to access the ancient tomes kept safe by the Masters at Holy Mountain. A trip to Seattle was a pilgrimage. During the height of the Enlightened Age, before the rise of the Darkness and his lieutenants, Seattle was the brightest of the three Hopopolis, a bastion of lupulin energy said to be more powerful than the Oracle itself. And where much of the light of Seattle had faded over the centuries--Holy Mountain endured.

Inspired by his time learning with the Masters, our Hop Dude ambassador returned to Mochimune and convinced the Alchemist to order a new cauldron (UBT) from the ancient lands east (New York). Upon arrival however the tank was found to be shrouded in evil--what the histories would later call a "Dark Torrent". To cleanse the UBT of this curse the Masters of Holy Mountain traveled to Mochimune, christening the new cauldron with a dark ritual, and in the process adding copious amounts of Kinako and Kuromitsu to its contents--creating the first of what we anticipate to be many (super delicious) Seattle and Mochimune collabos.
