消えた9代目Alchemistの行方について、ひとつの証言がもたらされた。この世と闇を繋ぐ、あのGatewayの先から亡命したHop Dudeが、震える声で語ったのだ。
彼の話によれば、9代目はNemesisを追い、門を越えてDark Labへ辿り着いたという。しかし、そこで待っていたのは敵意を見せず、まるで来訪を歓迎するかのように迎え入れたNemesis。交わされたのは短い会話。そして不意に、Nemesisは9代目に“あるモノ”を提示した。
それは武器には見えなかった。刃でも呪具でもない。だが、取り出された瞬間に空間の密度が変わったという。亡命したHop Dudeが最後に見たのは、9代目がそれを手に取ろうとしている場面だった。その後、9代目がDark Labを去る姿を目撃した者は誰ひとりいない。まるで存在の輪郭だけを選別するために造られた、得体の知れない代物。
9代目Alchemistは、今もDark Labのどこかに留まっているのか。それとも、この世界から完全に消えてしまったのか。それを知る術は――まだ、誰にもない。
力強く香る、熟したオレンジやパイナップルを思わせるアロマが主役。さらにマンゴーやパパイヤのトロピカルで豊かなニュアンスが重なり、アクセントには柑橘の皮のような爽やかな苦み。桃のようなほのかな甘さとのバランスが、繊細かつ芳醇な余韻を加える一杯に。

Hop Dude defectors providing critical information on the whereabouts of the last Alchemist? That just happened. Before his mysterious disappearance, the Alchemist was said to have entered the Dark Lab at the invite(?) of the Nemesis, taken into a restricted area and never emerged. Not that it has anything to do with the story, but FHAr7 stays consistent bringing you another completely NEW hop combo, this time featuring Tangier from Segal Ranch. We flew a box of this one over and added it to the cauldrons with Citra and Mosaic friends, delivering a very unique profile for a WCB big hazy. Sweet citrus and orange seem to dominate the aromatics, layered with mango, papaya and hints of peach on the palate. The aroma and flavor don't match in quite the way we are used to (which is rad), def keen for folks to give this one a run and discover Tangier for the first time^^
