実はあれから、勇者たちは何度も立ち上がり挑み続けている。
だが、一向に戦況は好転することが無い状況だ。
これまでの強敵を征伐し力を身につけてきた彼らですら、
禍々しい祭壇に鎮座し続ける邪悪な存在に打ち勝つことは、
成し遂げられていないのが現実である。
その相手とは、『The Black Wizard』。
我々の知り得る姿形とは何かが異なるが、
Hop Dudeなら須く知っているべき存在でもあった。
唯一、Nemesisを退けたとも言われ、
伝説的な希望の象徴ともされるAlchemist、
そしてHop Academyの校長でありながら、
High Hop Councilの議長をも務める『White Wizard』なのだから。
勇者たちは混乱しながらも、戦うしか他なかった。
激闘の末に、彼らは滴る冷や汗から身の危険を感じ気付き始める。
Black Wizardの放つ呪文の乱撃から、
圧倒的なダークネスの力が溢れんばかりだということに。
最後の望みをかけて出陣するも、
やはりどうしても倒すことができない。
全く歯が立たないこの感覚は、誰か1人でも弱音を溢したら最後。
慚愧に堪えないが、その時は近いのかもしれない。
一体、Black Wizardから無限に湧き出る
力の源は何処なのだろう。
奴が背にしている真っ暗な洞窟の奥で、
怪しげに漂う濃霧のような蠢きや、
違和感を強く感じることは確かだ。
「もしかして！？」
勇者一行の学者であり、
Hop AcademyでNo.1の秀才が走り出した。
その刹那。Black Wizardが杖を地面へと突き立てると
突如、轟音が鳴り響き祭壇全体が揺れ動く。
次第に暗雲が立ち込め、
何もかもが闇黒に支配されてしまった……【完】。
甘美なアプリコットを思わせるアロマの奥から、ダンクでグラッシーなワイルドな香りが出現。さらにグレープフルーツのようなジューシーな旨みと、心地良いほろ苦さに絡むスムースな口当たりが、複雑な味わいを優しく引き立て、飲み応えも抜群の一杯。
With the devs asleep at the wheel (or, keeping things the same cuz you know... the "vision") and no nerfs in sight, The Dark Lab was all but forgotten. Crowded ground FX impossible to recognize until it was too late. Resistance breaking one-shot mechanics virtually impossible to avoid. Knowingly (and shamelessly) violating the ToS daily, pumping RMT for razor thin upgrades (it's not crafting). And now after SIX FKN MONTHS and THOUSANDS of wipes, our band of hop heroes is ready to take down the ラスボス and claim victory (drops better be good). The Black Wizard isn't just any Hop Dude - he is the Dark-afflicted alter ego of The White Wizard, head of the High Hop Council and the Hop Academy. A double agent loyal to the Guardian, acting for a generation to thwart the Alchemist and turn potential successors or drive them to madness. The brew: replete with all the danky goodies (Mosaic/Columbus/Idaho 7), we are getting huge mango and bright citrus aromatics, followed by subtle sweetness with cantaloupe and peach vibes. And when we say "resistance breaking one-shot mechanics" - take that literally. This elixir is fun until you find yourself wondering what hit you - and that's when The Black Wizard strikes. Time to farm this one and get ready for Season 2!
