Nemesis、Arch-Nemesis、そしてHopbreakerと次々と登場するダークネスの悪党たちの力は圧倒的だ。多くのHop Dudeは傷付き、日に日に力を消耗していった。目の前で大好きなホップを奪われている者がいるにも関わらず、何も策を打たない評議会に対して、一部では不満の声が上がり始めていた。
そんな中、とあるBarの地下室にHop Dudeが集まり、新たなビールのレシピ開発に取り組んでいた。彼らは唯一、ダークサイドに対抗できるビールを造るという目的のために、さまざまな場所から集まった未来のAlchemistたちだ。
しかしそれは容易なものではなく、一歩間違えれば暗闇に堕ちてしまう手法であり、評議会からはタブーとして禁じられていた。
彼らは自らを“The Collective”と名乗り、そしてダークサイドに対抗するための最初のビールを精製した。新たな希望の一歩は、ここから始まる。
シリーズの第一作目を復刻！副原料としてセレクトした、3種類のベリーピューレ(ラズベリー・ブルーベリー・ブラックベリー)の酸味ある鮮やかなアロマが調和し、さらに大量のローストマカダミアナッツを投入することで、力強い香ばしさがアクセントに。ヨーグルトやグラノーラを連想させるニュアンスが、クリーミーで素朴ながら複雑さをともなう心地良い余韻に。
Tensions are rife. The Darkness' influence grows stronger with whispers of ancient creations reborn, while our Hop Dude heroes struggle to rally new recruits to bolster their cause. Unbeknownst to the ever-watchful eye of the High Hop Council, there is a meeting of the minds. Talented would-be Alchemists conclave in secret, their exchanges abound with forbidden incantations and mentions of contraband - those which the Council have forbidden for centuries, yet may be the only way to put an end to the threat of this new Nemesis. The Collective's first creation takes the fight directly to the Darkness - a Sour DIPA with adjuncts and flavors that walk the tightrope between good and evil - an epic balancing act and taste bud vacation for the ages.
