雲の上から、降りてきた？用宗のアートシーンを揺るがす、一大イベント。会場の中央に堂々とそびえ立つのは、あまりにも巨大な“Hop Oracle”の彫刻。
さすがは、雲の上に住まう伝説の仙人。Hop Dude界の名だたるアーティストたちが、彼をモチーフに制作した作品もずらりと勢ぞろい。その影響力、もはや地上に収まりきらないかも？
……とはいえ、本人はいつだってマイペース。今日も雲の上で、うとうと、のんびり、夢うつつ。もしかすると、この展覧会そのものが、彼の見ている夢なのかもしれない。
NZ産のNectaronホップを主体に、US産のEl Doradoを組み合わせ。仕上げには、ホップ由来の“Nectaron Quantum”を投入！
※＠abstraxhopsが開発したホップオイル製品。ホップ由来のアロマ成分を抽出・液化したもので、ビールに香りと風味を集中的に与えることを目的として使用。
パイナップルやパッションフルーツといった鮮やかでトロピカルなアロマ。味わいにはオレンジの柑橘ニュアンスが感じられ、桃やメロンの優しい印象も。なめらかな口当たりと、重さを感じさせない、するりと心地良い飲み口が魅力。
Not just *any* haze. MODERN Haze.
Each week, new beers. Each week, new hops. Wait... have you started to trick yourself into thinking all of these IPAs are just the same thing but cooked on different days? Oh how wrong you are, Dude. Each elixir is a carefully woven tapestry of investigation and analysis. Reflection (...mostly sensory-based, but we do play with mathematics and chemistry every so often). Before their respective journeys across multiple stainless steel vessels, these concoctions are manifested in the minds of our beer-creator crew, an aggregation of older ideas and trials, combined with more contemporary, fun stuff. A stroll through the annals of hazies past might be akin to hitting up a museum (or a wild new sunglass company's HQ) and getting a 236mL dose of liquid stimulation. For this more Modern take on a Hazy IPA, we did a bunch of funky shit--most notably aiming to balance larger (much larger) flavors with a smaller (much smaller) perceived haze--wandering slightly off the beaten path, but finding something pretty cool nonetheless. We're pouring one out today for friends, and for remembering to look back (and around) in order to keep going forward.
