全国から才能あるHop Dudeが集う、最高峰の学舎「Hop Academy」。しかしながら、やがて10代目のAlchemistとなる在学中の彼は基礎的な授業に心を奪われることはなかった。彼はもっと速く、さらにもっと激しく——爆発的なHop錬成を望んでいた。仲間と過ごす休み時間でさえ刺激は足りず、孤独の中で苛立ちを抱え続ける。
だが、それで良かった。彼には放課後に行なわれる師匠6代目との、誰にも言えない秘密の修行があったのだ。幾度となく繰り返される過酷な鍛錬は、時に体を削り、心を試す。それでも挑み続けられるのは、10代目にしか辿り着けない未来への扉を開くため。
日常に馴染めぬ違和感も、そのすべてが確かな布石。反復の先に掴む答えこそ、Alchemistの宿命であった。
濃厚イエローな“r”4作目。グレープフルーツやレモンのような明るい柑橘のニュアンスに、マンゴーやパイナップルを連想させるトロピカル感、さらには優しく香るマスカットの印象も。ドライで爽やかな口当たり。
Sitting in class. Out at recess. While the other disciples joked and socialized, our newly-minted, youngest-ever-to-don-the-mantle Alchemist spent his days straight up bored. It was after school however when the excitement picked up. His sessions with his mentor, the explosive lupulin creations. The ancient texts and histories, the secrets of the masters he hungrily sponged up, only to spend another day pretending nothing was happening. Our newest release in the series, "r4" releases some of the Alchemist's dankest secrets, with Citra/Nelson and additions of Hallertau Blanc in the DH. We are getting tropical notes reminiscent of mango and pineapple, bright citrus, dank/grassy vibes and a touch of muscat grape. The road to becoming the next FHA was rough and rocky, but he is taking it head on and finding fascinating flavor profiles along the way.
